STDs stands for Sexually Transmitted Diseases. As the name suggests, these types of diseases are spread when one person has sexual intercourse with an infected person. Some of them are curable and others are not. The best way to avoid getting an STD is simply to abstain from sex. If you Abstain from any sexual activity and live a pure life, there is no way you are going to get any sexually transmitted diseases. All you need to do is to make up your mind and decide that you will not engage in any activity that is going to get you sick. That you will wait till that time you can get a marriage partner. If not Be faithful to the partner you already have and then use a Condom. These three are the ABCs to avoiding getting sexually transmitted diseases.

Common knowledge should tell you that if you engage in drugs and alcohol, your mind has no control of what happens to your body. Do not engage in such substances before having sex. Say a loud NO and make your limits and wishes loud and clear and you will be safe from these diseases.
